I’m a retired biotech worker and my husband Mark is a retired airline pilot. We retired in August in 2011 and departed on a trip circumnavigating North America in a Roadtrek Agile. You are probably asking “Why didn’t you fly?”. Well, having seen the US from the air we decided we would see it from ground. Midway through the trip we decided we enjoyed RVing, but the Roadtrek was a little small for a long trip and we began thinking about our dream RV. We thought that a class A was too big, a fifth wheel would take over the entire back of our truck – that left a trailer – and we looked at each other – Airstream! We stopped at the Foley RV Center in Gulfport, MS just to look at Airstreams and left with Ramblin’ Rose, a 27′ FB Signature Inernational travel trailer.
That’s Mark and my story. There is one more member of our party … Ace, our RV pup. Ace is a Westie (West Highland White Terrier). He is a real RV pup, we picked him up at 7 weeks in Ramblin’ Rose and he has been with us on every trip.
